So I’ve been adamant about finishing the main game before starting HoS and then B&W. But I’m having 2nd thoughts. Back 4 Blood developer Turtle Rock Studios has revealed as long as your team leader owns any DLC, then your party will be able to join in on the action without being kicked out of the game. Back 4 Blood developers have confirmed that players will be able to play the DLC as long as at least one member of their team has purchased it.

Developer Turtle Rock Studios confirmed that friends playing Back 4 Blood together will be to access the game’s DLC without everyone having to buy it individually. The question is quite simple and is in the title. I have hero edition and my friend does not have hero edition or any DLC. So if i host will he be able to play the DLC or not? Witcher 3 is my absolute favorite game of all time. I played 2 play throughs of the base game and OG story, so I decided recently to give the blood and wine DLC a go. I’m not sure what it is but this DLC adds so many new things to the game that makes the game that much more incredible. It just feels more “Geralt” if that makes sense. This is not to say the base game is bad by any Grand Strategy Games don’t have a wide playerbase, so every sale counts. Players pirating DLCs mean they are not getting profit from it, (because their MP policy of: One has the DLCs= every player has the dlcs). Should I finish elden ring before starting DLC or can I hop on it as soon as it comes out? I’m on my first playthrough just feels more Geralt 70hours in Elden Ring at 110lvl right now and I just beat Morgott on first try I’m too overleved I guess.

The answer is pretty simple: Turtle Rock explained in a brief update that as long as the leader of a PvE party owns a paid content drop, including maps, modes, and campaign content, everyone else A of the main game and total of seven different Ridden Hives have been implemented into the game so far. These offer new areas to explore as well as new weapons and weapon attachments that can be found inside of them.

The topic of content drops always raises some alarm within the community when looking at PvP, so the studio elaborated: „In PvP, everyone who bought Back 4 Blood can get access to all additional PvP content, even without purchasing content drops,“ already do you purchase reads the most recent blog post. Is the DLC it’s own thing where it’s not baked into the world? Should I just beat and finish the game before getting it, or will purchasing it before hand get me some benefits or extra missions to do?

If anyone in your lobby doesn‘t have a dlc and you want to travel to a dlc location, it wont work and the game will tell you that someone in the game doesn‘t has the dlc. So you can just play a dlc if all players in the lobby have the dlc, but well you can get bl2 to 100% with your cousin. The DLCs are much harder than the main game, I like to play them after. The stories for JoH and Descent are independent of the main game, and each finishing the main other, so no worries there. There were complaints that the main game was too easy, I think Bioware said „hold my beer“, they found all new ways to one-shot your party. There is a new perk in JoH that helps with Descent, and Either I’m excited enough to play a game at launch and buy the DLC later, or it’s been out long enough that I may as well get the all-inclusive GOTY version by the time I actually get around to playing it.
