I am new to 40k and while using random items around the house has worked fine I would like to buy a terrain set in the $100-200 range preferably. Having played many 1k games on the smaller table in 9E, I’m very much in favour of the larger space. 9E definitely had issues with units being faster which compounded the issue, but it was so easy to run out of space and end up cramped. Models cannot be set up or end a Normal, Advance or Fall Back move within Engagement Range of any enemy models. If for any reason a model cannot meet this condition, that model is destroyed. Engagement Range: Within 1″ horizontally and 5″ vertically. Models cannot be set up within Engagement Range of enemy models.
